Dutch retailer Jeans Online launched a service last year that allows shoppers to give unwanted clothing deliveries straight back to the courier.

With its Easy Fit & Return service, customers have 15 minutes to try on garments, after which the courier will return to collect anything they don’t fancy.

Meanwhile, couriers from Russian online fashion store Lamoda offer a similar service, and will also offer style advice if you ask for it.

If you’re pressed for time, with work and family commitments stopping you from visiting physical stores, a service like this might well be what you’re looking for.

It’s another example of putting the customer first, and I can’t wait to see if (or rather when) UK companies start to offer similar services.
